Choose You This Day....!

It is estimated that the average adult makes about 35,000 remotely conscious decisions each day. As thoughtful as this may be, it is more instructive to consider how many of these thousands of decisions hold eternal value.

The choice of who to live for and serve is one such decision with eternal significance. Just like most decisions, this choice is also a matter of one's free will. In other words, every individual possesses the privilege to choose who to live for and who/what to serve.

However, the Bible tells us about a renowned leader and wise father called Joshua. During his crucial decision time, he stood out among the many unstable children of Israel and declared his stand, saying, "...but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD" (Joshua 24:15).

Who are you serving? Who will you serve?

Broadly speaking, there are three entities any person can serve:

1. Serving sin and Satan;
2. Serving self and the world;
3. Serving the Lord God.

Where do you stand?
Hear the counsel of the loving Lord,

"Now, therefore, fear the LORD and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt, and serve ye the LORD." - Joshua 24:14.

Serve the Lord with your strength, money, talents, life, and all you've got. Only what is done for the Lord will last forever. Never allow the pursuit of the mundane to hinder your eternal significance. Never!

Friend, how long halt ye between two opinions? If the LORD be God, follow him; but if Baal, then follow him... - 1 Kings 18:21.

If the LORD is your God, then serve Him in sincerity and truth. Will you serve the Lord?

The Climax of the Year, The Advent of Another.

With careful consideration of the journey from the month of January to December, I recommend you exercise yourself in the following: 1. Thanksgiving- Thank God!  There's a whole lot to thank  the Shaddai for. Just like the Psalmist, you can confess  " If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say; If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us: Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us: Certainly, It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: 2. Evaluation: Conduct a self-check up. It will be awesome to spare sometime for a self assessment.  Spiritual, Ministry, Career, Academics, Business, Relationship, Finance, Personal Growth, Mental Investment... name it; assess yourself in these areas.  For example, ask yourself the following questions. This year- How far? how well?  Am I better or otherwise?  Any improvement, a...
