AFRAID OF DEATH? HAVE ETERNAL LIFE

Eternal Life is also called Everlasting Life. Christ is the ONLY GIVER of this kind of Life.

WHY?

1. God's Command:

"As thou hast given Him power over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given Him" (John 17:2);

2. Christ's Declaration:

"And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand" (John 10:28).

Because without it Death Looms!

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23)...That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 5:21).

Eternal Life is only through Jesus Christ, NOT through any Elixir of Life.

HOW DO I HAVE ETERNAL LIFE? Simple!

A. BELIEVE ON HIM AND BE JUSTIFIED-

"That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:15);

"That being justified by His grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life" (Titus 3:7);

B. Fellowship with Him, Know Him and He Knows You-

"Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day" (John 6:54);

"And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent" (John 17:3);

C. Search The Scripture-

"Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me" (John 5:39);

D. Lay Hold On It-

"Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses" (1 Timothy 6:12);

E. Keep Yourself In The Love of God-

"Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life" (Jude 1:21);

Wait no further less the fear of Death and Destruction sinks you, take those steps NOW, call on Him for Eternal Life "this is the promise that He hath promised us, even eternal life" (1 John 2:25); "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13).

...The Gospel unto every creature...

The Climax of the Year, The Advent of Another.

With careful consideration of the journey from the month of January to December, I recommend you exercise yourself in the following: 1. Thanksgiving- Thank God!  There's a whole lot to thank  the Shaddai for. Just like the Psalmist, you can confess  " If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say; If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us: Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us: Certainly, It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: 2. Evaluation: Conduct a self-check up. It will be awesome to spare sometime for a self assessment.  Spiritual, Ministry, Career, Academics, Business, Relationship, Finance, Personal Growth, Mental Investment... name it; assess yourself in these areas.  For example, ask yourself the following questions. This year- How far? how well?  Am I better or otherwise?  Any improvement, a...
